Simply the Best Island Jeep and Marine Park Snorkel Excursion
Get ready for one of the greatest adventure in Cozumel! Meet your excursion guide at our convenient meeting point located a few yards away from the two main cruise ship piers in Cozumel.
After a warm welcome, board your Jeep Wrangler (4 people per vehicle, 5 people if space allows for individual groups) and follow your fellow guide for a ride in caravan style through Cozumel town, heading to the eastern side of the island, known by the locals as "the wild side", as there is no population living there.
Driving around the island of Cozumel and its coastline will provide you with many great photo opportunities, as all the views from the open Caribbean Sea and its beautiful colors are absolutely breathtaking. You will then enter the Punta Sur National Park, a unique place dedicated to preserve the Colombia Lagoon system, vital for sustaining the island's coral reefs. Along the way, we will stop at a small, yet very important Mayan Ruin known as "El Caracol and visit the salt water crocodile observatory while your knowledgeable guide briefs you with interesting information of the site and its surroundings and you can also climb the lighthouse for a great view of Cozumel's coastline. Then get ready for the best snorkeling from shore available in Punta Sur Cozumel (full snorkel gear is provided). Your guides will enter with you in the water, taking you to the best parts of the coral reef and assist in spotting the incredible sea life in this underwater paradise. If you don't want to snorkel, a shaded area with hammocks and beach lounge chairs is available for relaxing or working on your Caribbean tan.
Once the snorkeling is completed, we'll drive towards the town area, to an exclusive Resort on the water, where a delicious Mexican style lunch of fajitas, rice, beans, salsas and real tortillas will be served for your enjoyment.
All the resort facilities such as fresh water swimming pool, showers, bathrooms and beach lounge chairs are available for you and included in the price. A bar and restaurant are also available for you if want to order anything additional (at your own expense) and you don't have to worry anymore about the driving, as the excursion ends at this location after the lunch.
Where we meet
For the Cozumel Ultimate Island Jeep, Punta Sur and Snorkel Excursion we meet just around the corner of the International pier, a 2 minute walk from the Puerta Maya pier and a 5 minute taxi ride from Punta Langosta downtown pier. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Ticket.

Snorkeling at Punta Sur may be substituted to snorkeling at Dzul-Ha Reef depending on ocean conditions and safety measures.
Excursion Restrictions

Q. What happens if I miss my excursion departure because the ship arrives late?
A. You may can be rescheduled, just proceed to the meeting site or call us on the hotline number.
Q. Do I need a driver's license? Is my home driver license valid?
A. Yes, you need to show a valid driver's license at your arrival. Yes, your home driver's license is valid and enough.
Q. If I'm with other people in my Island Jeep, will I be able to drive?
A. Yes, driving resposibilities maybe shared, just ask your excursion guide and he will set you up with fellow participants willing to share the driving part.
Q. Is the Island Jeep and Snrokel Excursion in Cozumel cancelled if it is raining?
A. The Cozumel Island Jeep Excursion and Snrokel can be operated in rain or shine, however it is the local operator who will decide if the excursion may be cancelled due to safety reasons.
Excursion Cancellation Policy
For the Cozumel Ultimate Island Jeep, Punta Sur and Snorkel Excursion, we issue full refund if:
- Cancelled with minimum 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
- Your ship gets into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
- Your ship misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator of delivering the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from save participation in the excursion.
Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
