Mr. Sanchos Beach Club's horseback riding excursion on the beach is one of the only excursions that allows you to actually ride a trained horse directly on the beach, just a few meters from shore. The 45 minute long excursion starts directly at the beach club and takes you through jungle trails, visiting an animal farm, Mayan house, tequila farm and enjoying pure nature before you head to the beach for a good part riding the horse directly on the beach in Cozumel. Horses are trained for horseback riding on the beach.
Mr. Sanchos in Cozumel is know for its large beach strip, secluded from other more commercial beaches, clean and completely sandy. The Beach Club offers top facilities, excellent food and drinks and newly also a water park with trampolines, floats, climbing ice berg and much more.

Where we meet
We meet directly at Mr. Sanchos Beach which is an 8 minute taxi ride from the Puerta Maya and the International pier or a 15 minute taxi ride from Punta Langosta downtown pier.

Excursion Notes
- It is not allowed to "double-up" on one horse.
- Children will be given their own horse with a guide leading the horse on foot.
- Mr. Sanchos Beach Club is open from 9am to 5pm.

- Maximum weight per horse is 250lbs.
- This Mr. Sanchos Beach Horseback Riding Excursion is not suitable for mobility impaired people.
- Inexperienced horseback riders are welcome.

Q. What happens if I miss my excursion departure because the ship arrives late?
A. You may can be rescheduled, just proceed to the meeting site or call us on the hotline number.
Q. Can I run/gallop with the horses and/or enter the ocean with the horse?
A. Unfortunately, even if you are an experienced rider, as a safety measure for the rest of the Guests, running/galloping the horses is not allowed. Entering to the sea, is not possible, as the excursion takes place inside an ecologic reserve.
Q. Is the Mr. Sanchos Beach Horseback Excursion cancelled if it is raining?
A. The Horseback Riding Excursion can be operated in rain or shine, however it is the local operator who will decide if the excursion may be cancelled due to safety reasons.
