- How long is the
transportation to the ATV Camp?
The transportation one way
is approximately 20 minutes.
- How much time is spent
driving the All Terrain Vehicles in the Cozumel Jungle?
A total of approximately
1.5 hours is spent driving with various stops throughout the tour.
- Are the ATV's difficult
to drive? What kind of terrain is the ATV tour on?
The vehicles are easy to
drive and semi-automatic. You will see a short video, guide explanation
and all instructions are provided..don't worry be excited! Safety
comes
first on this tour and guides are happy working professionals!
- Can a passenger ride on
the ATV off road Mayan jungle tour?
Yes! Passengers are
welcome but must be minimum 6 years old.
- Are there any dangerous
animals in the Cozumel jungle?
Not anywhere near our camp
and trails, if there are some, they do not come close to humans. In all
the years there was NO single incident.
- Can I ride on my own and
do whatever you want with the All Terrain Vehicle (as experienced
driver)?
This
must be a no. It is a guided and safe tour and we, as of experience,
prefer to control the tour with a front and rear guide. Take note that
even as an experienced driver, you are not familiar with the terrain and
conditions and our guides will assure that you are safe throughout the
tour.
- Does anybody speak
English in case I need help?
Yes of
course, besides the mechanic who is always with a guide, everybody is
speaking English and Spanish fluently. They are prepared to assist you
in every situation.
- Is snorkeling from
shore, do I need to swim a lot?
Snorkeling is from shore yes and on most days, there is not even
swimming necessary as there is a slow current that basically drifts you
by the reef.

beginning of Cozumel Downtown and then its off for a short ride to the
oldes and first settlement on Cozumel, the Mayan Town of El Cedral.
The hop on your ATV and ride through the Cozumel Jungle, visiting an
underground cave called the Jade Cave in Cozumel and visit a small
Mayan Ruin before you are transported to one of the best shore
snorkeling spots for a guided snorkel tour of the Marine Park. After
the snorkeling you either return to your cruise pier or to downtown
Cozumel or you are free and welcome to stay at the beach club for as
long as you desire. This tour has been one of the best adventure
tour combos in Cozumel for years and highly recommended.

ATV TOUR LOCATION
IN COZUMEL:
The
Cozumel Jungle ATV Excursions in Cozumel depart from famous El
Cedral Mayan Town in Cozumel. We will meet at Margaritaville
Restaurant (4 minute taxi ride from your cruise pier), where your ATV guide will
await you with the ATV tour sign.
Recommendations and restrictions:
Bring
along: sun block (hat, sun cream, etc.), a change of clothes, bag for your belongings, cash for pictures and tips
(not mandatory).
RESTRICTIONS:
Closed toe shoes are mandatory, no sandals
allowed. Minimum age of 16 years with drivers license is
required to operate an ATV. Minimum age for passenger is 6
years old. This tour is not suitable for women during
pregnancy and people with recent neck or back injury. Depending
on conditions, trail may be bumpy, dusty or muddy. Maximum
weight is 350lbs. For special
